You are here.

Right now, in this moment, you are here.

You have experienced more than six-hundred billion seconds in your life, millions of hours, thousands of days. You probably have dreams and ambition — a desire to truly make something of your life.

Maybe you’re waiting for the moment to click — when everything turns out how you dreamed. The job you’ve worked for, the guy you’ve prayed for, the program you’ve always wanted to be accepted to.

As we wait for the big moments, we convince ourselves that the other part of our life — the boring, middle part — is only the check point until we reach our destination.

But what if the moments we are in are the important moments? What if we began to recognize that where we are is exactly where God wants us to be? What if our life wasn’t hinging on the big moments, but all of the small ones in between? And what if in every moment we begin to live knowing that He is actually here, with us.

On March 3rd, 2018, join over 1500 young adults at Fluid as we explore the power of being present in His presence as we journey through the book of Esther.

ABOUT

“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” – John 7:38

Jesus promises that when we believe in Him, we experience a tidal wave of living water within us that cannot be contained. Not only are we renewed, loved and comforted by Him, we inevitably become the very instruments of renewal, love and comfort to others.  We become fluid.

flu·id” (n) is defined as someone who isn’t static, but a person who is moving and taking the shape of whatever she flows into. In a similar way, Christ calls us to be that living water whether we are a social worker, student, pastor or a stay at home parent. Where ever we are and however we do it, He calls us to reflect the glory of God in more worshipful and fulfilling ways in any given moment. To that end:

On the first Saturday of March, we gather together to collectively learn what it means to be fluid, corporately pray for our generation and, with one voice, worship the name of Jesus. Hear God’s call, join His movement, be the change in the very places you reside – become fluid.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am interested in having my organization sponsor or have a booth at Fluid. Who do I contact ?
Great to hear your interest in partnering with Fluid!  Please email our sponsor coordinator Cynthia at cynthia@fluidgathering.com.
I will be arriving late to the gathering. What do I do if I miss the registration time?
Not to fret! All you need to do is head directly to the main Info Desk at the West (Main) Entrance when you arrive, present your ticket/registration confirmation and pick up your badge and welcome bag. Please note that you will need to have a badge to enter all sessions and labs.
Do you have any posters or marketing material we can use to promote Fluid?
We will shortly! Hold tight and we’ll let you know when they are available.
Are meals provided this year?
Meals aren’t provided but there will be food trucks on site and you will find many wonderful restaurants and fast food options in close walking distance from the venue that will ensure you have your lunch and dinner covered!
Are there hotels close by?
If you would like a hotel nearby go on the venue website here: www.rentals.themeetinghouse.com (go to hotels with preferred rates). When booking a hotel make sure you tell them you are attending an event at The Meeting House to get a preferred rate.
What about parking?
Parking is free at The Meeting House with 400 spots available.

Main Conference Registration Fee includes: five main sessions, one lab session, Swag Bag, and more!
What do I do if I lose or forget my tickets?
If you have lost or forgotten your ticket, you can show proof of purchase by using your ID and from the email order confirmation you would have received when you first purchased the ticket.  If you require more help, please contact us at info@fluidgathering.com

All registrants will receive a lanyard set at check-in for the gathering. If lanyards are lost during the conference there will be a $15.00 replacement fee since all participants are required to wear one to participate in the event.

Are the tickets transferable?
Yes. Substitutions are allowable. Group tickets can also be substituted when they do not alter the total number in your group.  Please contact info@fluidgathering.com for more info.
Are tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, it may be beneficial to see if someone else on your team, or in your network or organization might want to attend.  If you need to discuss this with the Fluid team, please email us at info@fluidgathering.com
I am interested in bringing a group to Fluid. What do I do?
Great! We highly recommend experiencing Fluid with your young adult leadership team, small group and community. Because we want to accommodate all groups, large and small, we recommend that you register on-line by March 1st, 2016. Please note that due to limited seating and selling out in previous years, group rates may sell out earlier than this date.
The event says “young adults” in the description. Is there an age restriction and what is a “young adults” ?
While there is no age restriction in attending Fluid, our aim is to create a learning environment and explore topics that are mostly suited for young adults (18 to 20-somethings).  That being said, we definitely encourage pastors and leaders who lead young adults to attend as well, preferably with your group. For those younger than 18 years, we suggest you to consider attending some other fantastic events (i.e., Change Conference) that are geared towards high school.
